Outpatiented
Last updated: June 2026
Outpatiented is a patient advocacy and health education service operated by a retired physician. We are not a medical practice and do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
When you use our consultation service, we collect:
An alias. Not your real name. You choose what to call yourself.
An email address. Used only to follow up regarding your consultation. We recommend a privacy-focused email such as Proton Mail if anonymity is important to you.
Your answers to the consultation form. Five questions about your situation. Stored securely in our database.
Booking and payment information. Handled entirely by Cal.com and their payment processor. We never see or store your payment details. Cal.com's privacy policy governs that data.
This is not a policy — it is how the system is built. There is nothing to breach because the original does not exist.
Your form responses and de-identified document content are stored in a secure database (Supabase) accessible only to Outpatiented. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Nobody. We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your information to any third party for any purpose.
The only external services involved are Cal.com (booking and payment) and the AI processing used to strip identifying information from uploaded documents before we see them. Neither service retains your data beyond the immediate transaction.
We retain your consultation information for as long as necessary to complete the work and provide your deliverable. If you would like your information deleted, email us and we will remove it promptly.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any information we hold about you at any time. Email outpatiented@proton.me.
